Land Related Services
Our Specialized Service Segment is to provide assistance in Land Related Legal Issues and Crisis Management in Kerala. We have a panel of experts who are updated and equipped with contemporary changes in the land related matters to provide necessary advice and services to those in need. Since the enactment of the Kerala Paddy Land Wetland Act in 2008, it is unclear how the conversion process can be done, although there are clear rules on how the conversion process can be done on lands which are recorded as nilam/wetland/nanja in the revenue records. Under the current legal framework, there are opportunities to change the type of our land with or without paying a fixed fee as a penalty to the government. The government’s move comes through an amendment in 2018 to the Kerala Conservation of Paddy Land and Wetland Act. However, due to lack of proper Record keeping and directions, pulling out original land dimension records from the Government’s survey records, filing application in RDOs,followup works in Village Office,Agriculture Offices etc and receiving relevant satellite image copies from the Government’s office in Thiruvananthapuram, and other related works became very difficult and time consuming. Nirala, through it’s network of staff, lawyers and associates across Kerala who are well experienced in Government liaison, have the resources to complete the entire assignment for any of it’s clients within a period of time frame from the date of commencement of the assignment including handling and any requirement to move relevant writ petitions before the Hon’ble High Court of Kerala, for expediency, if any hurdles are encountered. So it is very easy for the customer to get every process done in timely manner and get the land converted as the Law prescribes.
